Well, today, we started our road trip journey. We have been living in our motor home since Feb. It has been great…but today we move our home…We commented to each other today,…that retirement was actually a lot of work..but it was “all good”. We had a lot of errands to complete before hitting the highway. We did complete them all. π
It was a rough day for our cat Julia..she really didn’t like it when the house made a lot of noise and moved…I think she survived..maybe..she was really tired..
It was very emotional driving out of Vallejo…We were excited to leave and yet…there was a sad feeling of leaving places and people of comfort..it really hit us driving up Hunter Hill on Intersate 80..I guess the good thing was it only lasted a minute or two as we are on our way to Idaho to our granddaughers High school graduation which is a very special time. Kelly did remember how to drive the motor home even though it has been parked for three months. Here is our campsite at Snowflower..it was GREAT to smell the fresh scent of pine trees and moutain air. We will be staying here for three days before traveling across Nevada.
