We are Kelly and June Campion and would like to share the history of the name Luckdragon. Kelly and I first got together in 1990. Kelly had a motorcycle and on one of our rides, cruising along on a great country road,  I said, it was like being on Valcore the Luckdragon from the movie “The Never Ending Story”. Kelly liked that idea a lot and got personalized license plate (LCKDRGN)  for the bike. In the movie, “The Never Ending Story” Valcore would take children to the places of their dreams and fantasies, which is how we feel about each other and our life together.

We sold the first motorcycle and bought a 19′ boat and the license plate went on the trailer. The boat grew to a 27′ , so the boat was named Luckdragon (it also had a dragon painted on the stern) and the license plate was transferred to that boat trailer. The boat grew again to 35′ and no longer had a trailer, so the plate was transferred to our Ford Truck and the 35′ boat continued the name of Luckdragon. The 35′ boat was sold and we went back to a 21′  boat which continued the same name of Luckdragon.

We had purchased a cab-over camper for our Ford truck so it also had the name Luckdragon lettered on the back wall, which matched the lettering on the 21′ boat. We also had purchased a Harley motorcycle in 2006, which is license (LKDRGN)…which still takes us to the places of our dreams. The Ford truck and cab-over are gone and we now have a 36′ Country Coach motor home (LCKDRGN) and our Jeep (LCDRGN).

So, now that you have the history of all of our past toys (LOL) and how the name stayed…we currently have the Motor home, Jeep and the Harley, which will continue to take us to the places of our dreams…Each vessel we had, took us to great adventures and great friends…and we look forward to our new adventures to come, which we plan to share here at luckdragontravels.com
